Oscar of Between will be one of the distinguished guests at Word Vancouver this year. Oscar (a.k.a Betsy) will treat us to a reading from her latest memoir on Sunday, September 25th, at 2:10 at the Vancouver Public Library’s Central Branch. Joy Kogawa (reading at 1:30) and Ujjal Dosanjh (reading at 1:50) will also be part of this event called “Life Stories.”
At 2:40, Betsy will discuss “Writing From Within: Memoir and Identity” on a panel with Shaughnessy Bishop-Stall, Naomi Wakan, and Brandy Lien-Worrall. Moderated by Anna Ling Kaye.
