I’m glad to share an upcoming evening dedicated to creative nonfiction in Vancouver.
On Thursday, May 28 at 7:00 pm, the Creative Nonfiction Collective Society is hosting a reading at Notional Space (1523 E Pender St). Doors open at 6:30 pm, and refreshments will follow the readings.
This event brings together eight acclaimed and emerging writers whose work spans history, identity, belonging, humour, reconciliation, and social justice. With a mix of established voices and writers with books in progress, the evening offers a rare opportunity to hear new work in an intimate setting while connecting with a vibrant literary community.
Books by the featured writers will be available through Cross & Crows Books, and the gathering promises to be both thoughtful and energizing.
If you’re in Vancouver, I encourage you to attend and support this important community.
