Upcoming course with Betsy – Memoir of Inquiry

A memoirist is a lifelong student in the ways of memory. He or she is intrigued by their memories, the memories they share with others, and the collective memory that shapes us all.

In this discussion-based course, we’ll focus on memoir writing not only as a retelling, but also a dynamic site of inquiry. Writing exercises will help you identify the organizing principle of your memoir, what to include, what to leave out, and what form best suits your narrative.

Course starts November 14, 2013 at SFU Vancouver and runs for 3 sessions.
