I’m so eager to share a new project that I’ve been working on that is more timely than ever. Camouflage Complex: The Art of Deception is an one act opera based on my book, Oscar of Between: A Memoir of Identity and Ideas. The opera, written by Lloyd Burritt follows a genderfluid protagonist as they navigate awkward, funny, and sometimes dangerous public interactions as a “person of between”.
It will be performed at the downtown branch of Vancouver Public Library on June 11th (noon).
As gender and racial polarity, social-political, corporate deception, and daily acts of mass shootings have become more prevalent and normalized, it’s time to take a stand and speak up.
